It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Steinert (Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 13, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Steinert and Hildagarde Steinert (Knoffel); and his siblings, Edith, Walter, Margaret, Peter and Esther.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Steinert (Bachert); his daughters, Nancy A. Sterner (Robert) of Schuylkill Haven and Christine M. Long (late Carl) of Schuylkill Haven; his grandchildren, Eric Hosler, Dr. Kevin Long and Nicole Sterner; his great grandchildren, Mariah Litton, Cameron, Wyatt, Emily Hosler and Sophia Webber; and his brother Robert Steinert. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
