With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith E. Kriner of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Port Carbon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith E. Emerich (Bracey) and Wayne W. Emerich; her husband Edgar L. Kriner; her grandson Cory Smith; and her son-in-law James Frantz.
She is survived by: her children, Janet (Philip Smith) of Orwigsburg, Kathie (late James Frantz) of Orwigsburg, Cheryl (Michael Zimmerman) of Cressona and Philip Kriner (Beverly) of Orwigsburg; her grandchildren, David Kriner, Melodie Wildermuth, Janna Pelletier (Robert), Thomas Smith (Monica), Eric Zimmerman and Connor Zimmerman; her stepgrandchildren, Catherine, Madeline and Benjamin Eiche; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Allison Wildermuth, Cara, Jayce Pelletier, Leela and Riley Smith; her great great grandchild Chloe Wildermuth; and her pet Frosty.
