He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Katherine (Hoffman) and Daniel Raymond Stein. He is survived by: his spouse Jean A. Stein (Harnish); his son Dean A. Stein (Shannon); his grandchildren, Ethan, Gabrielle and Mason; his daughter Tonya A. Stein (Christen Moore); his stepson Keith C. Shellhamer (Michelle); his stepgrandchildren, Caitlin, Keely, Sarah and Abigail; his stepdaughter Dawn Leibold (Curt); his stepgrandchild Crawford; his stepson Kirk E. Shellhamer (Lark) of Alaska; his stepgrandchildren, Cruz and Blaze; his great grandchild Maddox; his siblings, Sandra J. (James H. Freeman, Jr.), Richard L. Stein (Lynn), Lowell Stein (Barbara), Darrel R. Stein and Curt D. Stein; and his close friend Melissa.
