He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Scherr (Hofer) and Bernard Scherr. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Baker; his children, Rose Ann (Bruce Fisk) of Wyoming, David "Nick" (Franca D'Agostino Scherr) of Dillsburg, PA and BJ Scherr of Lake Wynonah; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Sophia, Maria Scherr and Tyler Fisk.
