He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam C. Burkhardt (Payrow) and John L. Burkhardt; and his sisters, Judith Burkhardt and Susan Henninger. He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Bennett, Whitney Weir and Brian Hepler; and his siblings, Mary (Joseph Long), John Burkhardt (Beverly) and James Burkhardt (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
