He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Beneck (Michalka) and Arvel Beneck; his son Charles E. Beneck; and his siblings, Susan Heath, Anna Gruver, Joseph Beneck and Albert Beneck.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Beneck (Shiffert); his daughter Lori Lego (Joseph) of Mechanicsburg; and his granddaughters, Amber Callahan and Chiara Caparella.
