He was predeceased by: his parent Maude Lutz Rhoades Bright; and his siblings, William C., James H., Wallace J., Robert Rhoades, Vida L. Yeager Coolidge, Ellen R. Koch, Ruth R. Seyfert and Janet P. Rhoades.
He is survived by: his parent James Wallace Rhoades; his spouse Nita Louise Zimmerman Rhoades; his children, Cynthia Ann (Ronald Reidler) and Geoffrey D. Rhoades; his siblings, Alice M. Shoener, Frances R. Daubenspeck, Judith A. Raffa and John Rhodes; and also Womelsdorf. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
