He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary "Bunny" Knowles; his parents, Edwin Knowles and Catherine Knowles (Adams); his daughter Nancy Frey; and his siblings, Edward, Rodney, Frederick Knowles, Elizabeth Ammon, Eleanor Fudeman and Evelyn Knowles.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Ainsley Frey; his great grandchild Tallulah; and his brother Charles Knowles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
