He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wetzel and Clara Wetzel (McDannell); his siblings, Floyd and Genevieve (Strasbaugh); and his grandson Nathan Gilbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Anna, Robert and Raymond; his children, Larry (Cindy) of Kresgeville, PA, Kathy Gilbert (James) of Chambersburg and Michael (Lois Steinhour) of Orrtanna; his grandchildren, Brian, Jeffrey, Patricia Dunn (Peter), Lauren Bernard (Rony), Shawn (Shannon), Scott and Amanda Asper (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Gauge Wetzel, Jane, William Dunn, Taylor, Heath Asper, Laureyla and Laurel Bernard. He is also survived by his wife of 69 years, his three children.
