He was predeceased by: his parents, Stellas Nas and Minnie Trowbridge Nas; his wife Evelyn V. Nas; and his son Stephen Nas. He is survived by: his children, Virginia Thrasher of Fayetteville, PA, Jeannette McLaughlin of Fayetteville, PA, Peter Nas of Westminster, MD, Victor Nas (Wendy) of Lynchburg, VA and Constance Eyer (Kirby) of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
