It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene C. Dillon (Orrtanna, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his son Gene; his wife Patricia "Patty" A. Dillon (Miller); his children, Robert Funt (Melanie) of Williamsburg, VA and Andrea Helsley (Justin) of New Oxford, PA; his grandchildren, Connor, Carter and Amelia; his siblings, Linda Spielman of Buchanan Valley, PA, Larry Dillon of Buchanan Valley, PA, Dave Dillon of East Berlin, PA, Janet Bordwine (Chris) of Winchester, VA and Cindi Phares (Al) of Buchanan Valley, PA; his aunts, Joan Swanger of Hanover, PA and Irene Steinberger; his uncle Carl Keller of Gettysburg, PA; his parents-in-law, Fred Miller of Abbottstown, PA and Susan Merfa of Hanover, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Miller, Paul Miller and Mary Anne Coover.
In lieu of flowers, as Gene was not a flower-type guy, the family is asking that donations be made to the Buchanan Valley Fire Department or the Adams County SPCA.
