Daniel Hanson Moritz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Hanson Moritz of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Steven A. Moritz, and Cynthia Sue Moritz, Sr. (Sharrah) of Orrtanna; his son Colton H. Moritz of Orrtanna, PA; his stepson Jhonathan J. Balek of Wellsville, PA; his siblings, Steven A. Moritz, Jr. (Mandi) of Orrtanna, Kevin L. Moritz (Mary Anne) of Orrtanna and Amy S. Moritz (Jerry Ash, Jr.) of Biglerville, PA; his grandparents, Barry, Deb Myers and Chris Shearer; and also Ceresa Y. Moritz. He is also survived by niece, three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (256 Tract Rd, Fairfield, PA 17320).
