It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Re of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Re and Anna Re (Fasano); and his son-in-law Robert E. "Bobby" Kayhoe, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marie Bowling Re; his children, Jeanette Re Kayhoe of Orrtanna and Kirk Re (Dawn) of Biglerville, PA; his grandchildren, Desirae Bywaters (Rusty), Alexandra Ciamaichelo (Christopher), Seth Re (Kayla), Dalton Re (Vicky Plank), Jaden Re and Connor Kayhoe; his great grandchildren, Bryson Bywaters, Gianni Ciamaichelo and Kade Re; and his brothers, Victor Re of Gettysburg, PA and Vincent Re (Katrina) of Orrtanna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). The military honors will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery (1095 Church Rd, Orrtanna, PA 17353).
