He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leister and Susan Leister (Gehris); and his stepgrandson Anthony Manzi. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Leister (Miller); his daughter Barbara (John "Jack" Hansell) of East Greenville; his stepchildren, Cathy (Phil Manzie) of Florida, Lewis and Douglas Lucas; his grandson Travis Leister; his stepgrandchildren, Lisa, Dana, Kim and Kenneth; his great grandchild Dana Vanella; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leah, Isabella, Issac and Luke.
