He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ritter and Faye Ritter (Morrissey); and his granddaughter Emma Brealey. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley MacDowell; his grandchildren, Kylee, Chasyn Callihan and Tyler MacDowell; his siblings, Karen Ritter (Bob Wolper) and Steve Ritter (Gail); his niece Jamie Carver (Alan); and his great-nieces, Madyson and Haylie.
