He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ramsey and Olive Ramsey (Taylor); his former wife Jean (Whitsel); and his brother Earl Ramsey. He is survived by: his close friend Betty M. Ramsey (Miller); his children, Brenda Varner, James Ramsey (Leslie), Jacki Lehman (Bob), Jim Whitsel (Kelly) and Norman Whitsel (Misty); his grandchildren, Mark Ramsey, Nathan Ramsey, Mary Snyder, Elizabeth Lehman, Robert Lehman Jr., Jim "Bo" Varner, Cassie Whitsel, Hope Whitsel, Jaylen Whitsel and Isabella Whitsel; and his siblings, Allan Ramsey and Jean Johnson. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
