He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Edgar John and Mildred L. John (Morris); his sister Carol Stackhouse; and his brother-in-law Bob Stackhouse. He is survived by: his wife Gail D. John (Lechleitner); his children, Randy L. Girton (Janelle) of East Greenville, Michael L. John (Kathy) of Orangeville and Michele L. DiFebo (Gary) of Bloomsburg; his stepsons, Shannon R. Brittain (Marian) of Berwick and Shayne R. Brittain (Cari) of Dallas, PA; and his brother David Earl John (Melodie) of Berwick.
