She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy P. Ewing and Pauline E. Ewing (Houck); her brother Leroy P. "Bud" Ewing; her stepdaughter Delores Jean Smith (McCool); and her grandson Shaun Smith.
She is survived by: her husband James H. McCool; her granddaughters, Leilani Smith of Alaska, Rebecca Brown (Smith) of Utah and Renée Deuel (Smith) of Washington; her nieces and nephews, Brian L. Ewing (Kelly) of Huntingdon and Michele J. Ewing of North Carolina; her great-nieces, Kaitlyn E. Ewing and Kristin E. Brown (Byron); and her stepson-in-law Richard Smith of Utah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
