He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey M. Isett and Anna Pauline Isett (Lauderbaugh); and his grandson Joshua Renninger. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Mimi" Stewart; his daughters, Gaie Wilt (Richard) of Huntingdon, Lita Renninger of Huntingdon, Ruth Healy (Michael) of Woodstock, CT, Anne Banks (Timothy) of James Creek and Mary Busko of Huntingdon; and his grandchildren, Col. Scott Wilt, Julia Wilt, Adam Renninger, Betsy Banks, Cherie Stolz, Jason Banks, John Healy, Paul Healy, Dr. Meghan Lowe, Ian Busko and Sean Busko. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in remembrance of Gaius E. Isett may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
