It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas Demian of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Youshock; his parents, Michael Demian and Anna Dziama Demian; and his siblings, Walter Demian, Michael Demyan and Margaret Evanina.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Nicholas Demian Jr. (Marcia) and Cheryl Chieffallo (Joseph); his brother Basil Demian; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Demian, Lucas Demian, Joseph Chieffallo and Rebeca Chieffallo.

Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John's Russian Orthodox Cathedral (706 Hill St, Mayfield, PA 18433). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Tikhon's Orthodox Cemetery.
