She was predeceased by: her husband Michael P. Avasine; and her brothers, Frank, Vince Orlowski and Stanley Bernatowicz. She is survived by: her children, Marie Gulbin of Union Dale, Joseph Avaschieri (Carol) of Dickson City and Marlene Yzenas of Olyphant; and her sister Helen Krowiak (John) of Endwell, N. Y. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Mary's favorite charity was St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave., Scranton, PA 18503. The family requests memorial donations go to St. Francis.
