With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanne Van Nort of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, born in Duryea, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J. Van Nort; her parents, Francis Shanley and Gertrude Kelly Shanley; her son Joseph; and her siblings, William, Francis, Joseph Shanley and Ann Shanley.

She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Van Nort Kropa (William); her granddaughters, Corrinne Kropa and Shayna Seeley (Zach); and her siblings, Mary Boretsky and James Shanley (Diane). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
