He is survived by: his wife Jane Frances Lucas Kapinus; his children, Linda Smith (Willard), Gerald Kapinus (Sharon), Stephen Kapinus (Loujean) and Mary Pizzimenti (Frank); his grandchildren, Kimberly Kaschak, John LaRosa, Crystal Ross, Stephen Kapinus and Loujean Kapinus; and his great grandchildren, Sheridan, Sloan, Shelby Kaschak, Hunter Smallacombe, Luca Kapinus and Isaac LaRosa.
