He is survived by: his parent Josephine Davis Schaefer; his children, Lisa Conaboy (John), Karen Pollack (Robert) and Brian Schaefer (Megan); his grandchildren, Sean Hetsko (Kimberly), Rachel Pollack, Joshua Conaboy, Zachary Conaboy, Alexander, Molly, Emma and Benjamin Schaefer; his sisters, Avellina Cimino, Jeannie Tielli (Nick), Barbara Romanchick (Robert) and Ronnie Piccolino; and also Barry.
