It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Richter of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Provini and Elizabeth Shahum Provini; her sisters, Peggy Minello (Louis) and Marie Stelmak (Nick); and her nephew Nicky Stelmak.
She is survived by: her sons, Ric Jr. (Cathy) and John (Kathy); her grandchildren, John Jr., Melissa Piraino (Geoff), Tyler and Kelly; her great grandchild Penelope Piraino; and her sister-in-law Elly Richter. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Friends may call Friday morning at Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care, 157 S. Main Ave., Scranton, Carl J. Savino Jr., supervisor, from 9 to 10:30 a. m. Those attending both the viewing and Mass are kindly and respectfully asked to socially distance and are required to wear a mask.
