He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McCalips and Goldie McCalips (Casner). He is survived by: his wife Diane McCalips (Bedlyon); his children, Kimberly VanHorn (Troy Rothrock) of Lewistown and Tyler McCalips of Lewistown; his granddaughters, Alexis and Karlina VanHorn; and his brother Steve McCalips (Michele) of McVeytown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
