He is survived by: his wife Marlene Wining Gabig; his son Michael Gabig (Michelle) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Maddison K. Gabig and Michael J. Gabig Jr.; and his sister Joan Palombo of Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
