He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon L. Hafer and Arlene Hafer (Merkel); his son Terry A.; his daughter-in-law Bonnie A. Hafer (Buch); and his siblings, Lillian Wentzel, Robert Hafer, Florence Bitting and Floyd Hafer.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Larue Hafer (Cleaver); his son Barry Lee Hafer of Oley; his grandchildren, Matthew A. (Kimberly), Hillary Ann (Kenneth Steinly, Jr.) of Shoemakersville and Tiffany Ann (Justin Ollar) of Exeter Township; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla, Cheyenne, Cody, Charlee, Colt and Ella.
