It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Houp of Oley, Pennsylvania, born in Limekiln, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Houp; her parents, Walter Wegman and Carrie Wegman (Mertz); and her brothers, Myron, Robert, Sylvanus, Daniel Wegman and Dr. Harold Wegman.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence W. (Priscilla) of Limekiln, Gerald W. (Ilona) of Oley, Anita Heydt (Charles) of Jacksonwald and Lynne R. Cover (Ronald) of Mohnton; and her siblings, Mae (late Earl Hoffman) of Reading and Levi Wegman of Oley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
