He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adam and Mary Ann Waid (Wesner); and his siblings, Virginia L. Manwiller and Wallace James Waid. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley May Waid (Fretz); his children, Barbara Helene (Daniel Laudenslayer) of Boyertown, Virginia "Ginny" Darlene (Bret Reifsnyder) of Sumter, Billie Jo (Leonard "Bud" Quinton) of Centerville, Georgia, William Paul Waid (Kathleen), Eliza Laudenslayer, Jed Laudenslayer, Melissa Reifsnyder, Erika Gatiss (Jason Gatiss), Page Quinton (Richard Lauer), Chase Quinton, Riley Quinton (Deja), Marcus Waid, Siena Carroll, Francesca Carroll, Dominic Carroll and Dante Carroll; and his great grandchildren, Lucy Sayer, Daniel Laudenslayer, Jacen Laudenslayer, Sophya Laudenslayer, Thomas Anderson Jr., Brooke Anderson, Matheu Gatiss, Mikayla Gatiss and Kailee Gatiss. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren.
