He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan B. Christman and Florence B. Christman (Eddinger); his son Robert "Bobby"; and his siblings, Willard "Billy" Christman, Harold Christman, Helen Smith, Sarah Endy and Grace "Tuttie" Herb.

He is survived by: his children, Leonard "Lenny" Christman Jr. (Deanna), Karen Christman (Cassidy) of Blandon, Suzanne L. (Randel Mest) of Trout Run, PA, Carol D. Kneeream (George Broadfoot) of Lititz, James R. Christman (Mary A.) and Charles E. Christman (Mary Beth). He is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
