She was predeceased by: her parents, Willi Link and Elfriede Link (Schlosser); her husband David Hafer Shaner; and her brother Herbert Link. She is survived by: her brother Bruno (Karin Link) of Malente, Germany.; and her nieces and nephews, Michael, Thomas Link, Angelika Link and Simone Tillmann.
