He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Turner and May Turner (Rothermel); and his brother Leonard Turner. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Turner (Hoch); his sons, Michael Turner (Debra Levan), Jeffrey Turner (Dana McGackin) and Christopher Turner (Tanya Root); his grandchildren, Kellsey Guell, Kirkland Turner, Kyren Turner, Jake Turner, Harrison Turner, Riley Turner, Brielle Turner and Colten Turner; his siblings, Lucille Bubbenmoyer (Karl Bubbenmoyer) and Randay Turner (Karen Turner); and his brother-in-law David Hoch (Louise Hoch).
