He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon B. Hoch and Theresa Hoch (Babb) of Oley; and his sister Alicia (Michael Breitenstein) of South Carolina.

“I knew David was someone who you just have to give time to know. I met him on a greyhound bus station in Philly. I was head to a boyfriends house and he was head home. We kept in touch. I live with him for 6 months. And I will have to say he was the nice guy who you'll ever met. He also save my life. I miss you so so much Dave. My big teddy bear. Fly high or low. In my heart you'll also go. Rock out hun.”
