It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter John Sobuta of Old Forge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Ross Sobuta; his parents, Peter Sobuta and Agnes Krawiecz Sobuta; and his siblings, Stanley Sobuta, Edward Sobuta, Sam Granko, Joseph Granko, Josephine Potosky, Pearl Baron and Bertha Palahunich.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Sobuta (Jeff Luther); and his grandsons, Anthony Semyon and Justin McDonald (Erin McDonald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
