He was predeceased by: his parent Philip Totaro; and his siblings, Anthony, Louis, Leonard Totaro and Nellie Totaro Polizzi.

He is survived by: his wife Pierina "Patty" Botticelli Totaro; his parent Maria Conita Totaro; his daughters, Mary Theresa Mazur (Jan) and Diane Nardella (Louis); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Mazur, Emily Mazur, Kevin Nardella and NiCole Nardella.
