He is survived by: his nephew Jeffrey; his cousin Jimmy Besecker; his children, Tanya Besecker, Daniel Besecker, Jr. and Salina Besecker; and his siblings, Merle "Buddy" Besecker, Darlene Pilosi and Marlene Ciali. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 AM. Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moosic Alliance Community Church (608 Rocky Glen Rd, Pittston, PA 18641). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
