He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Nino and Geraldine Durandetta (Witherow). He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Durandetta; his children, Kelli Conley (Robert) of Curwensville, Shawn Durandetta of Olanta, Shay Durandetta (Betsy) of Olanta and Shelli Hoover Curwensville (Steve); his grandchildren, Tangi Borden (Matt), Brandin Nelson (Danielle), Kirsten Hayward, Brent Durandetta, Ashley Shearer (Robert), Megan Durandetta, Keisha Harvey (Dustin) and Shayla Ferraro (Joe); his great grandchildren, Berkeley Borden, Myiah, Alachia, Talia Nelson, Aevril, Teaguen, River Hayward, Ethan Shearer, Koen Harvey and Kaylee Ferraro; and his sisters, Irene Clark of Olanta, Sandra Fleck (Elwood) of Curwensville and Audrey Leach (Bob) of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville (300 State St, Curwensville, PA 16833). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Golden Tide Football Club, 650 Beech St. Curwensville, PA, 16833. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do something nice for someone else, unexpectedly, and without explanation.
