He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Kapp and Annie Best Kapp. He is survived by: his children, William J. Kapp (Susie) of Shippenville and Debbie Sobina (Chris) of Oil City, Four; his granddaughters, Kathryn L. Kapp (Lawrence Berg), Emily Weaver (Jim), Rebecca Vickers (Kyle) and Sophia Sobina; and his great grandchild Lillian Weaver.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Church in Fryburg's Window Restoration Project or Venango Region Catholic School.
