She was predeceased by: her father Henry Sherman; her siblings, Henry, Charles, Joseph, William "Grant", Carl Sherman, Sarah Rex and Jean Swartzfager; and her great grandchild Lydia Skonieczny.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen K. Crawford Jr. and Kristina Crawford (Jeff Dempsey) of Oil City; her grandchildren, Travis Jeffrey Dempsey, Zachary Stephen Dempsey of Oil City, Brandon Kimball (Natasha) of Franklin and Katie Kimball of Franklin; her great grandchild Keaton Kimball; her brother Benjamin Sherman; and her close friend Bill Morrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Dear Stevie and Kristina, We were so dad to hear of Aunt Ruth's passing. My brother (Den) and I recently stopped by her house to visit. We tried twice to see here but she didn't answer the door. Found out later that she was home but in the back room and didn't hear us. That added to our sadness. We are praying for each of you and for your families. We were always fond of you and would live to hook up sometime for coffee and catch up. For now, know that God has your Mom and he loves you! UKen”
