With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lawson of Oil City, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lawson and Amy Wilkinson Lawson; and his brother-in-law Robert Yashinski. He is survived by: his close friend Cindy McElroy of Oil City; his stepchildren, Andrew McElroy, Michael McElroy and Laura McElroy Bean; and his siblings, Jake Lawson, Dee VanSlyke (Howard) of Oil City and Deb Watson (Ed) of Oil City. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
