It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Dickinson of Oil City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Diane Dickinson Smith (Gammello) of Brenham and John Matthew Dickinson (Jeanne) of Rouseville; his children, Logan and Morgan; his wife Stephanie Lynn (Socha); his grandmother Lois; his nephew Dylan Socha-Kachik; his stepfather Tim Smith; his mother-in-law Lois Socha; his grandmother Nola Dickinson; his sister Katie Moehlman (Daniel); his sister-in-law Jessica Socha Tengstrand (Eric); his uncles, Dr. Mark Gammello (Lillian), Michael Dickinson (Penny) and James Dickinson (Barbara); his aunt Janice Dickinson; his cousins, Carolyn, Tim Schill, Amanda and Zach Brown; his sister-in-law Christine Socha (Thomas Kachik II); his grandparents, John Raymond Dickinson, Fred and Mabel Gammello; his great-grandparent Rose Dixon; and his aunt Darla Dickinson.
A visitation will be held at Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township on Wednesday (Dec. 30) from 4 - 7 p. m. Visitors are asked to wear a facemask and adhere to social distancing.
