He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Anderton Sr. and Jeanne Louise Wolfkiel Anderton; and his siblings, Sylvia Elizabeth Dowling, Douglas Andrew "Doug" Anderton and Andrea J. Reed (Anderton).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Anderton and Rose McLean (Patrick); his siblings, Amanda Bonar (John) and John J. Anderton Jr. (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Dolly Anderton and Patrick Dowling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory (116 Bissell Ave, Oil City, PA 16301).
