She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Smith and Edna Smith (Redman); her daughter Jami Slye Gahr; her sister Judy L. Ziegler; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Slye, Jack Slye (Janet) and Dale Slye.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Hoovler (Jake) of Oil City; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Hoovler of Oil City and Jenna Gahr of Utica; her son-in-law Josh Gahr (Jessica) of Utica; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Ziegler of Oil City, Janet Johnsonbaugh (Don) of Bellefonte, Debbie Harrison (Terry) of State College, Joan Slye of Dayton and Judy Slye of Summerville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
