He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Whitling, Sr. and Mary Jane Whitling (Birchard); and his siblings, Mark "Booner" Whitling, John Whitling, Harold "Herdy" Whitling and Helen Marie Kiehl.
He is survived by: his son Marcus Whitling (Kayla); his grandchildren, Annabell, Leona and Harper; his daughter Alyssa Harbaugh (Jeffrey); his grandchild Jaxon; his great grandchild Corporal Shane M. Whitling (Cheyenne Conboy); and his siblings, Mike Whitling (Kelly), Joyce Daugherty, Mary Anne Borland (Skip), Jodi Whitling and Marcia Whitling. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
