He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Dinger and Mildred Henry Dinger; and his sister Roberta Wielandt. He is survived by: his children, Shawn T. Dinger of Oil City and Monica A. Kline of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughter Haley Kossman (Keri); his siblings, Calvin Dinger (Tina) of Tippery, Two, Pamela Dinger of Oil City and Robin Harris (Ken Snyder) of Franklin; his stepsister Dianne Maskrey of Cumming, GA.; his sister-in-law Peggy Flis of Oil City; and also, Sam and Joyce Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Nittany Greyhounds in honor of his special buddy Cinder Lou or Special Olympics.
