He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Highlander (Brenda), Benson Highlander, Brian Highlander, Tammy Highlander, Betty Cooper, Shirley Vanslyke (David) and Brenda Wilson (Kelly); his children, Dale Highlander (Susan Brown), Kacie Bollig (Chantel), Monica Weeter (Aaron) and Angela Shaffer (Jason); his grandchildren, Austin, Zach, Siera, Rylinne, Abegayle, Charles, Madeline, Alexander, Braydon, Ryker, Macy, Allie, Kylie, Cheyenne and David Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Mateo, Everleigh, Allister and Nathaniel.
