He was predeceased by: his parents, George Blest and Flora Blest (Knight); his father-in-law Walter Weingard; and his son-in-law Steve Glass. He is survived by: his wife Joyce L. Blest; his children, Tammy McLaughlin (Scott) of Spartanburg, Debbie Cope (Raymond) of Oil City, Cindy Glass of Phoenix and Jesse Blest (Katie) of Loweville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Derek McLaughlin, L'Porshia Orberg, Channel Greenberg, Raymond Cope III, Centina Gaston, Citaya Bucholz, Steven Glass, Ciera, Nevaeh, Bree, Eowyn and Lilias Blest; his brother Jesse Blest of Franklin; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Weingard of Oil City. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church of Oil City, or to a charity of one's choice.
