She was predeceased by: her parents, Boston L. Confer and Lula R. Confer (Chambers); her siblings, Dorothy Confer, Lucille Amen, Eleanor Emeheizer, Bertha Blauser, Wade and Donald Confer; and her son-in-law Richard Slaughenhaupt.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Jane Slaughenhaupt of Butler and Thomas S. Hale Jr. of Oil City; her grandchildren, Crystal L. Neubauer (Walt) of Butler and Matthew R. Slaughenhaupt (Maureen Hochstetler) of Butler; her great grandchildren, Colin and Riley Neubauer; and her siblings, Delores Gayetty of Franklin and Lyle Confer of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
