Frederick Lawrence Szafran Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Lawrence Szafran of Oil City, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szafran and Frances Szafran (Voloshin); his parents-in-law, Clyde and Carole Licht (Hovis); and his brother Thomas Szafran.
He is survived by: his wife Christy; his son Zachary; his granddaughter Norah; his brother Jim Szafran (Francie); his siblings-in-law, Geneva Szafran, Sherry McCloskey (Mike) and Mike Licht (Pam); and his pet Rocco. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory (116 Bissell Ave, Oil City, PA 16301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Amedisys Foundation (Asera Care Hospice), Community Ambulance Service, or to the Venango County Humane Society.
